T'was the Night Before Christmas
T'was the night before Christmas and all through Spring Lane
The barns came to life with a very loud bang!
Tucker peeked out but couldn't conceive,
What his eyes were seeing he couldn't believe!
Cutting through the woods, coming his way,
Was jolly St. Nick and his shiny red sleigh.
One by one, heads popped out of stall doors,
Old St. Nick just couldn't be ignored.
His sleigh was beautiful, all polished and brass,
Bacardi popped up, eager to ask,
"Mr. Clause, you're missing something here,
I see your sleigh but there's no reindeer."
"While yes you're right", Santa chuckled and grinned.
"I think I need some help. Is anyone in?"
With a new team assembled and ready to go,
A shake of the reins, followed by Ho Ho Ho
On Dance, on Tucker, on Titan, on Tradition,
On Boss, on Bacardi, on Magnolia, y'all listen!
On Querida, Malaquias, on Chispa and Prenda,
On Futuro, we must keep our agenda!
On they pranced with a fino, corto and largo,
Carrying Santa and all his precious cargo.
Now the Saddlebreds, the Paso and Hackneys
Pulling Santa's sleigh may sound kind of wacky,
But later, as Santa unhooked their harness and leathers,
He told of a story that would last forever.
Of 12 special horses who weren't afraid,
To come to help, and offer their aid.
As stockings of peppermints appeared on the walls,
Santa was gone and each horse in their stall.
Then we could hear as Santa took flight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
